‘A Time Called You’ Update: Rowoon, NewJeans, More to Anticipate in Ahn Hyo Yeop’s New K-Drama
In preparation for its much-awaited release, "A Time Called You" team teases viewers about what to anticipate in Ahn Hyo Seop and Jeon Yeo Bin's drama.
"A Time Called You" is the Korean adaptation of the popular Taiwanese series of "Someday or One Day." It follows the story of Han Joon Hee, a woman who desperately misses her boyfriend after he dies.
In the midst of her grief, she discovers an old cassette tape and mysteriously travels back in time to 1998, where she wakes up as the high school student Kwon Min Joo.
There she meets Nam Si Heon, a guy who looks exactly like her late boyfriend.
Rowoon's Special Appearance
On July 28, it was reported by a news outlet that idol-actor Rowoon is confirmed to make his appearance in the upcoming time-travel series. After hearing the news, the drama received more anticipation from the viewers, thrilled to watch the Netflix series.
Despite announcing his participation, a sneak peek at his upcoming character is yet to be revealed.
Furthermore, the audience can't wait to see more of Rowoon's acting chops and how his role will be related to Ahn Hyo Seop and Jeon Yeo Bin's characters.
NewJeans To Sing 'A Time Called You' OST
One of the newest and most popular K-pop girl groups today, NewJeans is also contributing to the soon-to-release drama. Various outlets confirmed that the ADOR girl group will sing "A Time Called You" OST.
In particular, the group is said to have produced the remake of the 1996 song "Beautiful Restriction" by Kim Jong Seo.

Ahn Hyo Seop & Jeon Yeo Bin's Chemistry
One of the drama's highlights is the soon-to-unveil chemistry of its lead stars Ahn Hyo Seop and Jeon Yeo Bin.
Based on the teasers and trailers produced, this tandem is already exuding good synergy, which gives the audience the thrill of seeing more of their performances.
Ahn Hyo Seop and Jeon Yeo Bin garnered attention from their past projects thanks to their versatility and passion for acting.
Adding to the excitement is "The Red Sleeve" actor Kang Hoon. The heartthrob has been making waves with his fresh acting following his performance in the historical K-drama, as well as in "Little Women," "The Secret Romantic Guesthouse," and more.
According to director Kim Jin Won, the actors delivered different performances, showcasing various time periods and emotions, for their respective characters. They smoothly connected the overall storyline, which contributed to the development of the drama's storyline.
"A Time Called You" is scheduled to hit the small screen this September 8 on Netflix.
