Before he takes off with other soldiers, he meets Lady Yoo Gil Chae. At this point, she figured out that the man in his dreams might be Jang Hyuk but was hesitant to confess her feelings about him.

On the other hand, Jang Hyuk tried to convince Gil Chae and told her that the man he loves has found another woman, referring to scholar Nam Yeon Jun and Kyung Eun Ae.

Unfortunately, Gil Chae said that it was not easy to forget Yeon Jun, which made Jang Hyuk devastated.

As the journey begins, the Crown Prince reached the location of Khan but had a hard time dealing with the enemies.

On the other hand, Jang Hyuk had another mission, and that was to bring back the town of Simyang, which was ran down by the intruders. Unfortunately, he failed after the Khan group figured out his plan.

On the other hand, Nam Yeon Jun and Kyung Eun Ae officially got married. Although Gil Chae likes Yeon Jun, she was genuinely happy to see them happy together.

Unfortunately, the fairytale was cut short after Yeon Jun was imprisoned by the King. That was because he refused His Majesty's order and was locked up.

Meanwhile, some of the soldiers under Joseon were killed by the Qing group. Their belongings were put in the box for their relatives to retrieve. Gil Chae was crushed after seeing her red ribbon, which she gave to Jang Hyuk.

On top of the mountain, he wished for the return of Jang Hyuk.
