In "The Uncanny Counter 2" Episode 9, the evil spirits turn their backs on one another, much to the Counters' delight.

Meanwhile, Kim Sejeong tries her best to save Jo Byung Gyu.

'The Uncanny Counter 2' Episode 9: So Mun's Current State Worsens

So Mun (Jo Byung Gyu) wakes up in a coma in the beginning of "The Uncanny Counter 2" Episode 9. Hwang Pil Gwang (Kang Ki Young) threatens to kill Gelli Berherd (Kim Hieora) after she steals the power that he longs to have.

Before he kills her, the Counters arrive in hopes to save her and run away. Unfortunately, they suffer from the attack.

Do Ha Na's Solution

To regain their power back, they need someone in a coma to enter the place called "White Ground." It will also help him restore his lost powers which Gelli Berherd wiped out in the previous episode.

Do Ha Na (Kim Sejeong) plans to take down the evil spirit not only to avenge So Mun but also to put a stop to her evil plans.

Will Do Ha Na Succeed In Saving So Mun?

The Counters are surprised when the authorities from the Spirit Office reveal that So Mun isn't in a coma. His soul is still inside his body but he's not waking up for some reason.

Do Ha Na uses her powers to communicate with him. It is revealed that So Mun decided not to wake up as he believes it will keep everyone around him safe.

Chu Mae Ok (Yeom Hye Ran) visits Im Jae Yeol (Jung Taek Hyun) who realizes that he was once saved because of the Counter.

Because of this, he plans to do what's right. However, he still escapes after learning that one of his enemies is one the loose.

Hwang Pil Gwang Severs Ties With Gelli Berherd

Do Ha Na and Gelli Berherd get into a fight once again. With the help of Na Jeok Beong (Yoo In Soo), she takes down the evil spirit and exorcizes the demon from deep inside of her.

When the police arrive, Hwang Pil Gwang intercepts the transfer and rips the essence out of his former underling.

Meanwhile, the evil spirits continue to float inside So Mun's mind. The viewers are taken to a hotel where serial murders took place with everyone dying at the hands of evil Counters.

Do Ha Na Welcomes So Mun Back

Unbeknownst to him, Do Ha Na is spying on him. When he is taken back to life, So Mun's parents meet their doom.

She welcomes So Mun and Wi Gen (Moon Sook) back, saying that they're a family that can protect each other from harm.
