Here's Why 'Mask Girl' Appeals To The Public

In an interview with Elle Korea, "Mask Girl" director Kim Yong Hoon reveals that he feels nothing but pride and satisfaction with the new Netflix show.

When asked about the drama's charms, the director described "Mask Girl" as an "unsettling work that may bring discomfort to viewers."

It's an unorthodox work that boasts a compelling storyline and multidimensional characters toeing the line between indifference and the dark reality of societal issues.

Thanks to the drama's offbeat appeal, "Mask Girl" topped the Netflix box office in more than 20 countries including Vietnam, the Philippines, Indonesia, Japan and more. Catch the series on Netflix now!
