JTBC assured to make the weekend more exciting starting the fourth quarter of 2023, as the much-awaited sequel of its megahit 2017 series "Strong Woman Do Bong Soon" is coming to primetime this October.
"Strong Woman Gang Nam Soon," also known as "Strong Girl Nam Soon," presents the story of a pure-hearted woman, Gang Nam Soon, who was born with super strength and incredible speed. May she be beating up bad guys or escaping in sticky situations, she always has a captivating smile on her face.

Joining her in navigating an adventurous journey are her mother, Hwang Geum Joo, and grandmother, Gil Joong Gan, who also have superpowers. These trio will join forces to track down criminals running in Gangnam, Seoul.
This series, which has expanded its worldview six years after "Strong Woman Do Bong Soon," which opened a new horizon for K-Women Hero, has drawn attention from the production stage.
What We Know So Far About 'Strong Woman Do Bong Soon' Sequel
Baek Mi Kyung, who created the first female hero in a Korean series, and "Work Later, Drink Now" director Kim Jung Sik will collaborate to create another sensation.
On top of that, talented stars will gather in one frame, namely Lee Yoo Mi, Kim Jong Un, Kim Hae Sook, Ong Seong Wu, Byun Woo Seok, and Lee Seung Joon.

The sequel is said to be packed with dynamic action scenes and interesting characters. It was announced that Season 1 lead stars Park Bo Young and Park Hyung Sik will have their special participation in the second sequel of the drama.
"Strong Woman Gang Nam Soon" will occupy the Saturday and Sunday slots on primetime and is scheduled to hit the small screen this October 7 on JTBC.
