‘SNL Korea’ Halts Kim Hieora’s Appearance Following Her Involvement in Notorious Iljin Gang

The aftermath of the controversy continues as Kim Hieora's appearance in "SNL Korea" got canceled due to her involvement with the infamous Iljin Gang at Sangji Girls' High School.

"Iljin" is a Korean term that refers to bullies within a school setting who take over control over fellow schoolmates using physical power.

Following the successful finale of "The Uncanny Counter" season 2, Kim Hieora is in hot water after Dispatch dropped bombshell news regarding her past.

It was after the media outlet received information about the actress' involvement in bullying incidents way back in middle school.

Kim Hieora's Guesting in 'SNL Korea' Halted

As soon as the news broke, media outlets cited that the actress' scheduled filming of "SNL Korea" season 4 was canceled by the producers.

It can be recalled that the show officially announced on September 4 that the 34-year-old actress will be appearing in the upcoming episode of the variety show's 4th season.

However, just days after the announcement and on the day that Dispatch revealed the shocking news, producers of the show have decided to postpone the scheduled recording and broadcast featuring the controversial actress.

In the same report, Kim Hieora expressed her thoughts on the abrupt cancellation of her guest appearance.

"There are so many facets to me that I want to share. I was planning to reveal a lot of these through SNL Korea," she said, adding, "Despite these recent happenings, I strive to perform at my best alongside the show's talented crew."

Was Kim Hieora Member of Big Sangji?

According to Dispatch, the actress' former classmate revealed that Kim Hieora was part of the notorious Big Sangji, known to extort money and physically as well as verbally abuse their classmates.

The outlet said that they received the tip in May and have met with approximately 10 individuals who went to the said school.

A former student named "B" claimed that "The Glory" actress was "also part of Big Sangji."

"There was a group called Big Sangji at the school. They extorted money from others and gave it to the oldest members of the group," the person said, adding, "If you didn't have money, they would curse at you and hit you."

Following this, Kim Hieora confessed that she was part of the Big Sangji but denied that she participated in school violence.

Admitting that she was not a model student back then, the stress said that she reflected on those days."

"I have never hit anyone. Of course, that doesn't mean I am not responsible. I lived as a bystander," she pointed out.

Dispatch also gathered evidence showing a screengrab from their online group message board, showing Kim Hieora actively commented on the group's activities.
