CONFIRMED! Shin Min Ah Teams Up with Kim Young Dae in ‘Because I Want No Loss’
Shin Min Ah and Kim Young Dae will pose as a couple in the upcoming K-drama "Because I Want No Loss."
After being offered to headline the upcoming series, the Hallyu queen confirmed her appearance in "Because I Want No Loss."
Shin Min Ah, Kim Young Dae Become Fake Couple in 'Because I Want No Loss'
According to a report, the forthcoming K-drama is a romance series penned by Kim Hye Young of "Her Private Life."
Shin Min Ah takes on the role of Son Hae Young, who agrees to be a fake bride because she doesn't want to suffer a loss, while Kim Young Dae portrays the character of Kim Ji Wook, the fake groom who doesn't want to cause harm to other people.
In the story, Son Hae Young has her fair share of relationship fallout that often leads to her break down. When she is on the verge of losing out on promotion, she decides to stage a fake wedding.
As for Kim Ji Wook, he is known in the community as a righteous man. Working as a police officer during the day and, at the same time, as a night shift worker at a convenience store.
He finds himself getting a bizarre offer from Hae Young, a customer that he meets at the confidence store. Ji Wook then accepts the offer as a part-time fake groom to Son Hae Young.
Following the confirmation of lead stars, "Because I Want No Loss" is slated to premiere in 2024 via tvN and TVING.
While the upcoming K-drama will be the duo's first project together, viewers are thrilled to see the on-screen chemistry of Shin Min Ah and Kim Young Dae as they play a fake couple.
What's Next for Shin Min Ah?
Apart from her upcoming K-drama "Because I Want No Loss," she is set to headline a slew of upcoming projects in the coming year.
After the 2022 hit K-drama "Our Blues," Shin Min Ah will have 3 more projects.
Helmed by "Our Blues" director Kim Kyu Tae, the actress will play a lead role in the drama "Here." She will be reunited with Ha Ji Min and Lee Byung Hun, who also starred in the 2022 omnibus-style series.
Adding to the list of cast members are Nam Joo Hyuk and Bae Sung Woo.
Moreover, Shin Min Ah will also star in the upcoming medical romance drama "I am a Nurse, a Human." Based on the title of the same name, the soon-to-be released series is directed by Lee Hyung Min of "Strong Woman Do Bong Soon."
Adding to the list of Shin Min Ah's new dramas is the thriller crime series "Bad Relationship."
Based on the webtoon of the same name, she will be teaming up with "Squid Game" star Park Hae Soo.
