However, the responses on the articles on the prediction of the final episode's storyline were not hot. In fact, "The Heirs" fans and audiences were not curious to know the ending of the drama.

Everybody knew, from the beginning, that the drama would end with the happy ending of Kim Tan and Cha Eun Sang. In "The Heirs," Cha Eun Sang, played by Park Shin Hye, is a daughter of a maid of the Empire group's family. In the beginning of the drama, she is a strong girl who takes care of the mother, and working two to three part time jobs after school. The stereotypical drama plot of an unfortunate female character and the male character who takes care of her, in addition to another male character who loves the female character has been a cliché for the drama world where the majority of the audiences are female.
