‘The Heirs’-Like Romance? Never In Present

For the past week, a myriad of articles appeared on the final episode of SBS drama that recently ended, "The Heirs." However, the responses on the articles on the prediction of the final episode's storyline were not hot. In fact, "The Heirs" fans and audiences were not curious to know the ending of the drama.
This is the cold fact of "The Heirs," a drama that accumulated over 30% of the national viewing rate. Everybody knew, from the beginning, that the drama would end with the happy ending of Kim Tan and Cha Eun Sang. This is the truth that has been predicted from even the beginning of the drama that nobody had questioned.
In a romantic melo drama like "The Heirs," the male and female main characters are bound to end in a happy ending. Albeit its predictable ending, "The Heirs" attracted the attention of the audience in the process of the two main characters finding their love.
In "The Heirs," Cha Eun Sang, played by Park Shin Hye, is a daughter of a maid of the Empire group's family. In the beginning of the drama, she is a strong girl who takes care of the mother, and working two to three part time jobs after school. The stereotypical drama plot of an unfortunate female character and the male character who takes care of her, in addition to another male character who loves the female character has been a cliché for the drama world where the majority of the audiences are female.
