The popular SBS Wednesday Thursday drama "The Heirs" aired its final episode last Thursday. Amassing the average national viewing rate of 20%, "The Heirs" pioneered the drama's trend this year. Although some have criticized that the drama will be nothing more than a typical Cinderella story, the drama showed a totally different result, based on its strong plotline. In addition, from the main characters to the supporting characters, and the parent characters, all of the characters in "The Heirs" showed brilliant acting skills, perfecting the drama's plotline and resulting in the "revolution of the supporting characters."
Kim Woo Bin, who played Choi Young Do in the drama, is probably the most popular new face of 2013. Choi Young Do, who at first appeared as the mean guy of the Empire high school, became a romanticist after he fell in love with Cha Eun Sang, played by Park Shin Hye.
In addition, female characters such as the mean girl You Ra Hel, played by Kim Ji Won, and Krystal (nee Jung Soo Jung) of the girl group FX showed the importance of the supporting characters, which was as important as the main characters' roles in the drama "The Heirs."
