B1A4 Jinyoung To Join Jung Ji So In ‘Miss Granny’ — Here’s What We Know

Idol-actor B1A4 Jinyoung was reportedly cast to star as the male lead of the forthcoming K-drama adaptation of "Miss Granny."

Earlier this year, Jung Ji So of "The Glory" was confirmed to take on the titular role in the series, which means that the two might couple up in the new show. Here's what we know so far.

B1A4 Jinyoung In Talks To Lead 'Miss Granny' With Jung Ji So

On September 15, media outlets reported that B1A4 Jinyoung has been cast as the male lead in the upcoming romantic comedy series "Miss Granny."

The idol-actor has proven his acting chops in the industry since his debut, appearing in more than 15 dramas including "Police University," "Love in the Moonlight" and "My First First Love."

According to BB Entertainment, Jinyoung's agency, the idol-actor received the offer to join the ensemble as the male lead, and is currently reviewing the offer with a positive mind.

Earlier this 2023, Jung Ji So of "The Glory" confirmed her participation as she takes on the titular role Oh Doo Ri in the series.

"Miss Granny," which has been remade in more than 20 countries, follows the life of a 74-year-old woman who suddenly finds herself back in her 20-year-old body after an unusual incident.

The series is currently in its pre-production process. Filming begins after the finalization of the casting lineup. Further details about "Miss Granny" are yet to be announced so stay tuned.

B1A4 Jinyoung Joins Season 2 of Netflix's 'Sweet Home'

Fans are in for a treat this 2023 as B1A4 Jinyoung returns to the small screen with the new installment of Netflix's mega hit series "Sweet Home."

In the show, the singer-actor transforms into a Special Forces Guard Soldier alongside Song Kang, Lee Jin Wook, Lee Si Young and Go Min Si who decorated Season 1 in 2020.

"Sweet Home" tells the story of the eerie happenings in an apartment complex that houses monsters and supernatural beings.

Since its debut in 2020, "Sweet Home" has become one of the best works in the streaming platform, which earned the green light for a new production thanks to its great reception.

Netflix releases Season 2 within the year, and will be subsequently followed by its third season some time in 2024. Don't miss the arrival of "Sweet Home 2."
