Actress Kim Hyang Gi opened up about her experience wearing a school uniform again for her role in the Coupang Play teen series "Absolute Value of Romance," portraying high school student Yeo Eui Joo.

According to Kstartrend, regarding the role's requirement to wear a school uniform after a long time, Kim Hyang Gi admitted she initially had some concerns. She said, "It had been a long time since I wore a school uniform, so I was relieved that people around me complimented me and said it looked good on me."

She also described the filming environment as comfortable due to the presence of many cast members near her age. On this, she shared, "There were many friends around my age, so filming felt like I was really back in high school." To maintain a relaxed atmosphere on set, she mentioned spending time naturally with the cast and bringing snacks to share.

Kim Hyang Gi reflected on her own school days, noting that starting acting at a young age made her grateful for the support of her friends. She explained, "Even now, I meet my middle school and high school friends the most," and added that their presence helped ease any burdens during her school years.

Discussing her growth as a child actress, she spoke about how she approaches evolving her image. Instead of forcing change, she believes in giving her best to every opportunity. She said, "From an actor's point of view, it is something to be thankful for if you have a wide range of roles you can play, both younger and older. I will continue to do my best."

In separate news, "Absolute Value of Romance" is gaining attention for its unpredictable storyline and growing chemistry between Kim Hyang-gi and Cha Hak-yeon. Recent episodes showed Eu-ju slowly realizing her feelings for teacher Woo-su, bringing both excitement and relatable school romance moments to viewers, as reported by the ChosunBiz.
