JTBC dropped new character stills of Rowoon and Jo Bo Ah for the upcoming "Destined With You" episode 9.
"Destined With You" follows the story of Jang Shin Yu, a genius lawyer locked in an old curse, and Lee Hong Jo, a civil servant who holds the key to Shin Yu's freedom with the help of the banned book that was sealed 300 years ago.
'Destined With You' Episode 8 Highlights
To recall, in the last broadcast, Jang Shin Yu realized his feelings and gave a sincere confession to Lee Hong Jo. However, Hong Jo desperately rejected Shin Yu's heart.
Adding to the suspense was the duo discovering the black magic book and straw cursed doll at the site of the shrine they visited to reseal the wooden box. This also brought anxiety to both characters.

'Destined With You' Episode 9: What Kind of Connection Jang Shin Yu & Lee Hong Jo Had in the Past?
In the provided stills, as the story progresses, Lee Hong Jo and Jang Shin Yu reach a turning point in their relationship. The two reunited at a festival and locked gazes while surrounded by a crowd of strangers.
Lee Hong Jo looks somewhere with empty eyes, while Jang Shin Yu, stares at Hong Jo from afar, which somehow makes his heart tingle.

In addition, the past lives of Hong Jo and Shin Yu, captured in the same place over 300 years ago, gains curiosity among viewers. The two are hugging each other in the middle of the crowd, where Shin Yu shows agony in his eyes.
Aside from the photos, the production released a teaser where Jang Shin Yu said in a sorrowful voice, "Let us run away, anywhere," giving a glimpse of their heartbreaking story in the past.
Attention is now focused on what kind of connection the two characters had in their past lives.
A member of the production team shared that episode 9 will be the start of an unbreakable and irresistible fate of Lee Hong Jo and Jang Shin Yu, which were shrouded in mystery.
