In the final wave of September, three brand new K-dramas are set to dominate prime time with its star-studded cast and intriguing narratives.

From "Song of the Bandits" to "Twinkling Watermelon," the entertainment scene will be filled with various inks of genres that will surely cater to hundreds of thousands of viewers all around the globe.

'Song of the Bandits'

Starring Kim Nam Gil, Girls' Generation Seohyun, Yoo Jae Myung and Lee Ho Jung, "Song of the Bandits" is making its debut to deliver the historical drama about the lives of Koreans in China during the Japanese occupation in the 1920s.

The series is led by veteran actor Kim Nam Gil's Lee Yoon, a soldier-turned-bandit, who defends his countrymen in the Gando region. Catch its premiere this September 22 on Netflix.

'Twinkling Watermelon'

From the historical action series "Song of the Bandits," the final week of September also welcomes the cider-like teen romance drama "Twinkling Watermelon."

It stars Ryeoun, Choi Hyun Wook, Seol In Ah and Shin Eun Soo, and depicts the life of a CODA (child of deaf adult) who travels time after entering a suspicious music shop.

He finds himself in the year 1995 where he meets his parents as high school students, and creates a band that sings the woes and triumphs of the youth.

Described as heartwarming, fresh and comforting by the production team, "Twinkling Watermelon" is a drama that the viewers shouldn't miss this September. Catch its premiere this September 25 on Viki and Viu.

'The Worst of Evil'

Ji Chang Wook, Wi Ha Joon and Im Se Mi's highly anticipated action thriller series "The Worst of Evil" is finally coming to the home theaters this September 27.

The drama tells the wild goose chase between an undercover police officer and a master criminal who pushes drugs in the wealthy streets of Gangnam District.

Things get wild when the police's wife and colleague, played by Im Se Mi, signs up for the same assignment and learns more about her and her history with the drug lord they want to take down.

"The Worst of Evil" also offers an intense love triangle between the cast that will certainly send every viewer to the edge of their seats. It will be available on Disney+ for worldwide viewers.
