'The Escape of the Seven' Episode 6 Recap

After the background story of the new character Matthew Lee, the start of his revenge has unfolded.

He planned to get close to everyone related to Bang Da Mi, from her previous homeroon teacher, the popstar wannabe Han Mo Ne, her biological mother Geum Ra Hee, her grandfather's misstress Dr. Cha, and the people who wronged her father, Lee Hwi Soo. Little did they know that Matthew Lee is Lee Hwi Soo.

On the day of Bang Da Mi's death, the people were invited to a secluded island, where unexpected things happened. It turned into a survival island where the selected invited guests faced monsters, poisonous plants, and wild animals who were attacking them.

In the middle of their journey, they met a man who introduced himself as the rescuer, saying that there's a boat waiting for them, but they must traverse an unfamiliar trail in order to survive.

After facing struggles, they learned that they are only hallucinating and might be drugged by someone; that's why they are seeing things.

After managing to escape the island, leaving dead people behind, they planned to keep things a secret.

Geum Ra Hee said they must get their stories straight once the police notice that some of the guests are missing.

Lo and behold, police came in and were investigated regarding this. The police handling the case seemed to doubt everyone and think that they were hiding something. However, Michael Lee, who is the chairman of the biggest mobile platform in South Korea, vouched that the seven people were victims and not suspects.

This is only to gain the trust of the key people who are the subject of his revenge.

In the last scene, Han Mo Ne is being hunted by her past and has been seeing Bang Da Mi in her dreams.

This is where she revealed to Geum Ra He that it was her who killed Da Mi.
