Taecyeon Gets Candid About His Acting Career in His Fan Meeting Presscon

Ok Taecyeon showcased his acting abilities while playing various roles. From a villain to becoming a vampire, the idol-actor always makes sure to try something new.

In his recent interview, the celebrity finally spoke about what kind of image he wanted to show in his next acting project.

On September 23, Ok Taecyeon made his first solo fan meeting in Manila. Before the main event, the heartthrob joined the members of the press and some of his fans in a media interview.

Aside from his background in producing music and everything related to his K-pop, the Korean star was also asked about his acting career.

In particular, what the fans should anticipate in his next screen work.

Previously, Ok Taecyeon revealed in Eric Nam's Daebak Show that his dream role was to portray a villain. Thanks to his years of hard work, the actor landed the role and became the main antagonist in the megahit K-Drama "Vincenzo."

At the press conference, the "Save Me" star was asked what is something he really wanted to do as an actor.

He responded, "Like what I said before, I do wanna expand my spectrum as an actor. But since I am known for my physique..." which was immediately interrupted by cheers from the audience.

Before the actor even continued, a fan shouted, suggesting a project like the erotic movie series "50 Shades." Ok Taecyeon was shocked by the suggestion but was already open-minded about it as he knew what his fans want.

He then explained that he is open to the possible role.

According to him, "I do want to try something that would allow me to exhibit my physique a little bit more than the characters I have previously done. Like boxer, fighter, or swimmer."

Ok Taecyeon just finished his fantasy-romance series "Heartbeat" in August, where he transformed into a half-vampire and half-human. Despite playing a new role, which was uniquely different from his past works, the leading man was able to give life to his character and even channeled the inner comedian in him.

Furthermore, as of this writing, the 2PM member has no confirmed drama yet but will continue to go on tour to meet his fans through his first solo fan meeting.
