4 Time Travel K-Dramas With Shocking Twists: ‘Reborn Rich,’ ‘A Time Called You’ & More!
Time travel K-dramas are a fun way to explore both the past and present while witnessing how two people fall in love. In the past decade, Hallyu has offered hundreds of amazing series that were enjoyed by fans all around the world.
What better way to spice up the already interesting genre than by adding some unexpected twists and turns in the bunch? Here are four time travel K-dramas with shocking plot twists that you must check out this week!
1. 'My Perfect Stranger'
Released earlier this 2023, Jin Ki Joo and Kim Dong Wook's "My Perfect Stranger" took the risk in making both characters travel back in time.
Although one didn't intentionally plan to go back to the past, both of them grow more curious about the time period they were in, especially when they meet their family's younger selves.
"My Perfect Stranger" is also laced with murder mystery that brings the two to cross paths, and eventually fall in love with one another.
2. 'A Time Called You'
In Ahn Hyo Seop and Jeon Yeo Been's "A Time Called You," many viewers lost their minds during its broadcast.
The time slip drama takes one character back in time, all the while taking the other in the present period, creating an overlapping timeline that mixes both of their memories and feelings.
"A Time Called You" also depicts the mourning of a young woman who loses her boyfriend to death. She then meets her dead lover's doppelganger whom she gets entangled in a strange fate.
3. 'Tomorrow With You'
Lee Je Hoon and Shin Min Ah's "Tomorrow With You" also has a unique idea for the time travel trope. Unlike other characters, both of them can decide to travel back in time.
They also go back in time by riding the sideway, instead of suffering a trauma of falling through a portal like other series.

When they meet in a time period, one learns that she is in danger. Because of this, the other sees to it to save her before they run out of time.
4. 'Reborn Rich'
Last but not the least is Song Joong Ki's "Reborn Rich" which follows a revenge plot against an influential conglomerate family.
When he is unfairly killed, Song Joong Ki's Hyun Woo is reborn as the rich family's youngest son, and discovers the truth about his death and the family he's born into.
"Reborn Rich" certainly had various plot twists that blew every viewer's mind so make sure to check it out.
