Following her school violence issue, Park Hye Soo made her public appearance for the first time in a year.

Park Hye Soo Promotes New Movie 'The Dream Songs'

On October 10, Park Hye Soo officially met the public as she attended the press preview of her upcoming movie "The Dream Songs," alongside co-star Kim Si Eun and director Cho Hyun Chul.

Since it was her first public appearance, the celebrity took the chance to personally address the bullying allegations from 2021.

Ghost Studio, her agency, released a statement the day before the press preview, stating that they had filed a lawsuit because the "Hello, My Twenties" star was defamed by misinformation.

"Investigators have sent the case to prosecutors after finding that the defendant used false information to defame Park Hye Soo significantly. They are currently further investigating the defendant."

Park Hye Soo Updates Public on School Violence Controversy

At the press conference, Park Hye Soo mentioned her agency and that they had been working hard to correct the misinformation that broke out in 2021.

"My agency has informed you about the situation that has been going on. Although the investigation is still ongoing, there will be no change in my stance, and I will proceed to make efforts until the end."

Park Hye Soo apologized for bringing up the topic at the media conference for her film and encouraged everyone present at the event to talk about the movie.

The actress will headline a new movie called "The Dream Songs," which depicts a story about love and friendship.

Before the school trip, Sam had an ominous dream of her best friend Ha Eun dying. Filled with fear, Sam rushes to Ha Eun, who's in the hospital due to a bicycle accident, and asks her to go on a school trip with her.

Despite her ongoing battle with school violence controversy, Park Hye Soo humbly approached the public with her upcoming screen comeback.

"The Dream Songs" marks her big screen return after "Samjin Company English Class" in 2020. The actress will meet the viewers in theaters beginning October 25.
