After receiving heartwarming gifts, which she posted on her social media, the singer-actress expressed her gratitude to her closest celebrity friends, who pulled off a lovely surprise party for her birthday.

In Bae Suzy's Instagram post, the 29-year-old star shared a few snaps from her special day, showing how she celebrated her birthday with fellow celebrities Lee Young Ah and Im Joo Eun.

According to the actress, it was a remarkable day for her, and she thanked her "sister" for celebrating her birthday with a mini get-together.

"They surprised me and even made a cake for me. It was delicious," Bae Suzy's Instagram caption reads, adding, "I was deeply touched. I won't forget it (sincerely). Thank you, sisters."

Other than her celebrity besties, fans also took to the comments section to wish the actress a her special day. Some also wrote that they were glad to see Bae Suzy celebrating her birthday with her unnies or sisters.

In her previous Instagram post, the "Start-Up" star revealed plenty of precious gifts she received from fans. Her whole room was filled with balloons, flowers, and cake sent by her supporters.

Bae Suzy also shared a simple celebration she had, eating her favorite food with a smiley cake for her birthday.

Bae Suzy Stars in Romance K-drama 'Doona' With Yang Se Jong

Following Bae Suzy's birthday, viewers will get to see the singer-actress return to the small screen with an interesting K-drama.

Teaming up with Yang Se Jong, the 29-year-old actress transforms into the lead vocalist of a K-pop group who decides to leave the limelight at the height of her career.

Due to her decision, Lee Doona faces harsh consequences, prompting her to live in a shared apartment.

Interestingly, this is where she meets the college student, Lee Won Joon, played by Yang Se Jong.

Their unexpected friendship becomes a safe place for Doona amid the setbacks in her life.

In addition to Bae Suzy and Yang Se Jong, viewers will get to see Park Se Wan and Lee Yoo Bi as supporting cast members.

"Doona" is set to hit Netflix on October 20, with a total of 9 episodes for the whole season.

The upcoming K-drama is based on the popular webtoon "The Girl Downstairs," and was directed by Lee Jeong Hyo of "Romance Is a Bonus Book" and "Crash Landing on You."
