Is It True? 'Business Proposal' to Have New Drama Remake
In 2022, the K-drama world was shaken as Netflix introduced the webtoon-based series "Business Proposal." It narrates the story of Shin Ha Ri, an ordinary employee who accepts to go on a blind date in place of her friend, but finds out that her date is actually the CEO of her company.
This 12-episode series ran from February 28 to April 5, 2022, and was one of the hottest K-dramas during its run. Ahn Hyo Seop, Kim Sejong, Kim Min Gyu, and Seol In Ah collaborated for the first time in this K-drama.
With the success of the show, many were surprised when Hong Kong TV station ViuTV held an event and announced that the hit drama would have a remake.

On October 13, the audience had a glimpse of the spin-off as the first trailer was shared with fans, showing what could be expected from the adaptation and a sneak peek at the characters.
MIRROR Members Ansol Lo, Edan Lui to Join Lead Cast of 'Business Proposal' Remake
The video began by showing the male protagonist Keung Tai Mo (Timo), who will be played by MIRROR member Anson Lo. Similar to Ahn Hyo Seop's character, Kang Tae Moo, Anson exhibits that CEO.
The next character introduced was Timo's best friend and secretary, Cheung Sing Fan (Alfred), to be portrayed by MIRROR member Edan Lui.
Adding to his boy-next-door visuals is the cute eyeglasses and shows the new version of fan-favorite OG character Sung Hoon.
Who Will Play Kim Sejeong and Seol In Ah's Roles
Kim Sejeong's iconic role, Shin Ha Ri, will be played by Hanna Chan as Chan Chin Shu. Compared to the original, this character seems to be more playful and quirky with her glasses on and sense of style.
Completing the main leads is Shirly Sham as Suen Ho Lei (Holly), who is Chan Ching Shu's best friend. Like Seol In Ah, she is glamorous, bubbly, and the best partner in crime.
After naming the new actors to give life to the four characters, there were also glimpses from the scenes that viewers could expect.
The interactions between the characters add a thrill to the audience.
It is expected that the "Business Proposal" remake will start airing in the fourth quarter of this year. Many are already looking forward to the new version of the drama, especially after the success and popularity of the original K-drama.
