After dominating the news with his smoking scandal, Choi Hyun Wook once again makes headlines for declining to star in a new drama.
The actor was supposed to couple up with Go Min Si in Lee Eun Bok's new show "I'm Against My Romance." Choi Hyun Wook's agency, Gold Medalist, released a statement.

On October 16, it was reported that Choi Hyun Wook declined to appear in a new drama with Go Min Si.
Born in 2002, the rising actor has appeared in countless high scale works like "Twenty Five, Twenty One," "D.P. 2" and more.
Currently, he plays the role of a handsome and witty band vocalist in the youth drama "Twinkling Watermelon" with Shin Eun Soo, Ryeoun and Seol In Ah.
Earlier this month, the actor was embroiled in a smoking scandal after being caught tossing cigarette butts in a public place with non-celebrity women.
The actor apologized to the public for his disappointing behavior and paid the exact fine for breaking the law. Choi Hyun Wook also promised to return with improved behavior and work.
Because of this, many were saddened after he decided not to appear in Lee Eung Bok's new drama "I'm Against My Romance" with Go Min Si. Lee Eung Bok created mega hit dramas "Goblin," "Sweet Home," "Descendants of the Sun" and more, to name a few.
Gold Medalist released a statement, saying that the actor was eager to star in the work if not for the conflicts in the schedule. With this, the casting lineup for the work is back to square one.
