"The Killing Vote" episode 9 will deliver mind-boggling scenes as the SBS thriller-crime K-drama, starring Lim Ji Yeon, Park Hae Jin, and Park Sung Woong, enters the second half.

Based on the webtoon of the same name, the SBS series depicts the story of the mysterious masked man, who the public named Gaetal, and his mission to punish criminals who managed to get away with the law. Gaetal has a unique way of punishing his target, and this is through voting.

With this, detective Kim Moo Chan (Park Hae Jin) leads an investigation team to find the person behind Gaetal. Joining the special investigation team is cybercrime head Joo Hyun (Lim Ji Yeon).

One of the links they considered is the renowned professor turned prisoner Kwon Seok Joo (Park Sung Woong).

After the shocking ending of episode 8, viewers are wondering who the real Gaetal is.

In the past episode, "The Killing Vote," it was shown that there is a group or organization behind Gaetal, which means that there are three, four, or more people behind this, but the question is who is the mastermind of this bizarre activity.

Kim Moo Chan speculated that it was Professor Kwon who was behind this and had been planning this all along. As he warned Joo Chan, a van hit the wall of the police station, helping Kwon Seok Joo escape from the scene.

Meanwhile, his accomplices included the high school student Kim Ji Hoon and her guardian, Dr. Yang Hye Jin.

Interestingly, SBS dropped major hints on what to expect in the upcoming episode. The teaser showcased the reunion between Professor Kwon and his former student, Kim Ji Hoon, who he almost adopted.

The shocking twist raised curiosity about what would happen to Kim Moo Chan and Joo Hyun now that they know that Professor Kwon was behind it.

In another teaser, Kim Moo Chan went live as he appeared on a special show to defend himself and expose what he knew about Gaetal.

Would he be able to change the public's perception of him after he nearly turned into Gaetal's target in the last episode?
