While busy with their individual projects, Shin Hye Sun and Ji Chang Wook made a surprise move that left fans excited. The two were seen posing together for a snap, which was then shared by the actress on her Instagram.

On October 21, the "See You in My 19th Life" star posted an intriguing photo on social media. Many were curious who the man beside her was and upon seeing the post. Shin Hye Sun tagged Ji Chang Wook.

Meanwhile, many fans concluded that the picture was taken on the set of their upcoming drama "Welcome to Samdalri." 

The K-stars will headline the romance series that depicts the story of a hero, who seems like a dragon ascending to heaven, crashing to earth after losing everything, and is about to start a brand new life.

Shin Hye Sun takes the role of Jo Sam Dal, who becomes a diver who harvests sea life for a living after her mother passes away. Her goal is to get out of their small town and build a new life in Seoul. She changes her name and pursues the fashion photography industry.

As soon as she has already built the career and life that she dreamed of, everything vanishes in the blink of an eye due to an unexpected incident.

Ji Chang Wook, on the other hand, plays the character of Jo Yong Pil, Jo Sam Dal's close childhood friend. His passion at work earns him a respectable reputation at work who is not afraid to confront his boss.

Despite moving out of their small hometown to pursue their solo careers, the two will find each other again and develop special feelings for each other.

"Welcome to Samdalri" is scheduled to premiere sometime this 2023.

While waiting for Shin Hye Sun and Ji Chang Wook's first drama team-up, you can watch their solo projects first.

The actress will have her big screen comeback with "Brave Citizen" where she will share the frame with idol-actor Lee Jun Young. The movie is ready to hit the cinemas beginning October 25.

Meanwhile, Ji Chang Wook is receiving praise for his brilliant performance in the ongoing series "The Worst of Evil." He works undercover to chase one of the biggest gangs that do illegal work in and outside South Korea.

Furthermore, the actor is also booked with another series "Empress Woo," which is composed of a star-studded cast. The drama is speculated to release in the first half of 2024.
