Shin Hye Sun Reveals Why She Decided to Live With Family

After her comeback series "See You in My 19th Life," Shin Hye Sun is about to dominate the silver screen with her upcoming movie "Brave Citizen." Ahead of its release, the actress will make a special appearance on tvN's "Yoo Quiz on the Block" to promote her new work.

In the uploaded teaser for the October 18 broadcast, the actress revealed the reason she can't become independent. Shin Hye Sun was asked what she was most excited about other than filming. She immediately answered. "It's time to be with my nephew."

According to the actress, her nephew is about to start schooling in elementary school in 2024. She candidly mentioned that three generations including her parents and nephew are living together.

The "Mr. Queen" star fondly talked about her affection for her nephew showcasing their close bond. Shin Hye Sun revealed that her nephew was the reason why she refused to live alone.

"At this point, I am unable to live independently because I think I will miss my nephew's special moments while growing up."

The Hallyu star chose to stay at home with her family and spend more time with her nephew instead of moving out and living solo.

What's Next for Shin Hye Sun

The celebrity will headline the movie "Brave Citizen," alongside Lee Jun Young. It will feature the story of So Si Min, a former hapkido high school athlete. She becomes a part-time teacher and decides to pretend to have weak fists and turn a blind eye to injustices happening around her.

However, after meeting the bully Han Su Kang, who tramples on anyone in the school where she is teaching, So Si Min's story develops into an exciting turn. The film will finally meet the viewers beginning October 25.

In addition, Shin Hye Sun is also gearing up for her next screen return as she is confirmed to share the frame with K-heartthrob Ji Chang Wook in the romance series "Welcome to Samdalri."

It will be helmed by "When the Camellia Blooms" director Cha Young Hoon and is expected to premiere sometime in 2024.
