Jeon Jong Seo Gets Candid About Womance In New Film 'Ballerina'

Earlier this month, Jeon Jong Seo returned to the spotlight with the newest Netflix film "Ballerina."

The actress played a former bodyguard who sets out on a dangerous hunt to avenge the death of her best friend, a ballerina who falls victim to the hands of a sex trafficking syndicate.

Jeon Jong Seo once again showed off her gravity-defying stunts and amazing immersion with her character Jang Ok Ju, which stole the hearts of many.

Aside from the actress' heartstopping scenes, Jeon Jong Seo's chemistry with Park Yu Rim's Kim Min Hee also received great feedback due to their ambiguous relationship.

In an interview, Jeon Jong Seo clarified that the film didn't intend to show a homosexual relationship. She said, "It's just a friendship between two women."

According to her, she acted without restricting herself from being "too homosexual," which makes it understandable. Jeon Jong Seo said that fans can think what they want about the film.

"I want to leave subtle things like the fine line between friendship and love," Jeon Jong Seo added. "Ok Ju took revenge without looking back because of her love for Min Hee."

In addition, "Ballerina" dominated the Netflix charts of non-English shows, accumulating over 25 million viewing hours and topping countries like South Korea, the Philippines, Chile and more.
