‘Daily Dose of Sunshine’ Episode 1-3: Park Bo Young Struggles In New Job
After an undisclosed incident, Park Bo Young gets transferred over to a new ward in "Daily Dose of Sunshine" episode 1 to 3. Keep on reading to know how she copes as a newbie in a world as colorful as the psychiatry ward.
Jung Dae Eun's First Day
The drama begins with Jung Da Eun's (Park Bo Young) first day as a nurse in the psychiatric ward. Everyone is curious why she transferred over to psychiatric care but she doesn't reveal her reasons.
She begins her new job with heavy news as she meets her first patient, a mother who is being admitted to the ward by her own daughter.

But it turns out that the daughter is the one who's suffering from bipolar disorder. Oh Ri Na (Jung Woon Sun) struggles as she hallucinates and begins to urinate all over the floor.
Jung Da Eun's First Patient
The next day, Oh Ri Na seems to be back in her calm state. However, something triggers her and snaps at her once again.
It is revealed that her own mother has been suffocating her, controlling every aspect of her life. The stress got her and soon became bipolar.
Thankfully, the nurses assess the situation, giving the mother and daughter some time to mend their relationship. Jung Da Eun's colleagues complain about her "vivacious" personality, which irks some of the nurses at the psychiatry ward.
She hears all of the words uttered behind her back, making her remember the feedback she received before. In the internal medicine department, everyone hated her for being too quiet.
A Bump At Work
Things get worse when she stumbles into another bump at work. To unleash her stress, she visits her best friend Song Yoo Chan's (Jang Dong Yoon) chicken restaurant.
As she begins another day at work, Jung Da Eun encounters patients suffering from mental illnesses like obsessive compulsive disorder. Sadly, she doesn't know what to do.
This then puts her job in jeopardy, making Song Hyo Shin (Lee Jung Eun), the head nurse of the department, berate her.
Like other nurses, she believes that Jung Da Eun should go through basic orientation before joining the team, making her think about going back to the internal medicine department.
What's Wrong With Song Yoo Chan?
At the hospital, Park Soo Yeon (Lee Sang Hee), one of the nurses, receives a call about how Jung Da Eun helped a patient, making her become a little softer with the newbie.
Later that night, Dong Go Geun (Yeon Woo Jin), a doctor, shows up on the rooftop after bumping once with Jung Da Eun at the bus stop where he learns about her job.
Song Yoo Chan then arrives at the hospital after he struggles to breathe. The doctor brushes it off as indigestion. Meanwhile, she tours the trainees around including Ji Seung Jae (Yoo In Soo) who's currently under the weather.
Hwang Yeo Hwan (Chang Ryul) continues to woo Min Deul Re (Lee E Dam) but to no avail, he's rejected once again as the latter believes they shouldn't be together as workmates.
The doctors and nurses attend a big meeting about panic disorder after the cases in the past five years increased drastically.
A Sudden Confession
Jung Da Eun suspects that Ji Seung Jae, who's branded as a slacker, suffers from this just as Dong Go Eun believes that Song Yoo Chan suffers from it, too.
It is revealed that the latter has been suffering from overfatigue and overworking, and being overwhelmed by everything led to a panic disorder.
Meanwhile, Ji Seung Jae admits he doesn't know the root of his panic disorder. Jung Da Eun promises to be by his side as a senior, guiding him as a nurse in the psychiatric ward.
Both Song Yoo Chan and Ji Seung Jae go to the hospital to receive medication. Meanwhile, Dong Go Eun asks the former for permission to like Jung Da Eun, raising tension.
