'Strong Girl Namsoon' Episode 9: Lee Yoo Mi Encounters Challenging Task
"Strong Girl Namsoon" delivered an unexpected turn of events as Lee Yoo Mi, Ong Seung Wu, and Kim Jung Eun set up a plan against Beyon Woo Seok. As they dug deeper into the drug trade, Kang Nam Soon found out about a tragic incident involving her mother.
Based on the hit K-drama "Strong Woman Do Bong Soon," the new JTBC series is a spin-off that depicts three generations of strong women. As the story gets into its second half, things are going steady in viewership ratings.
'Strong Girl Namsoon' Viewership
In a report cited by Neilsen Korea, "Strong Girl Namsoon" episode 9 started the second half with an average nationwide rating of 7.1 percent. It is a slight decrease from its previous episode's 8.472 percent nationwide rating.

Despite this, "Strong Girl Namsoon" is doing well with viewership, so it landed second as the most buzzworthy drama next to Nangoong Min's "My Dearest."
Interestingly, viewers an watch the show's new episode every week via JTBC, while global fans could stream it via Netflix.
'Strong Girl Namsoon' Episode 9 Recap
Since Nam Soon had a plan of her own, Kang Hee Shik was surprised to see how she pulled off her mission by being dressed as a ghost as she escaped from the Doogo office, bringing along with her a computer. He then found her sitting on a bench and scolded her about how terrible her plan was.
Despite this, she laughed it off and promised to look into the Russian mafia group.
Meanwhile, as they solved the issue regarding the drugs, Nam Soon's brother, Kang Nam In, was slowly getting addicted to drugs. He was not eating and going out of his room like he used to, which bothered his father.
On the other hand, Hwang Geum Joo was busy dealing with Doogo and Hwa Ja.
She had a one-on-one conversation with her and offered her help when she found out that Hwa Ja was trying to kill Nam Soon.
For Geum Joo, she still treated Hwa Ja as her other daughter, which somehow eased Hwa Ja's hatred towards Nam Soon. Thankfully, this conversation happened before Ryu Shi Oh went to meet Hwa Ja.

He was digging into Nam Soon's idenity because of his hunch that her assistant was the daughter of Geum Joo, but Hwa Ja didn't reveal the truth and that Tsetseg was not Kang Nam Soon.
In the last scene, Nam Soon was given a challenging task by Ryu Shi Oh. He asked her if she could murder someone, which stunned Nam Soon.
But instead, Shi Oh said that she didn't need to do this because Hwang Geum Joo was dead.
In the next scene, Geum Joo encountered a car accident where she was supposed to meet Kang Hee Shik.
