The hit drama "Castaway Diva" is in hot water after production crew caused disturbance to the public after wrapping up its principal filming.
It was alleged that the production unit left piles of rocks on a beach in Jeju, interrupting the public's enjoyment of the facilities.
The rocks were suspected to be the ones used in the scene where Park Eun Bin's Seo Mok Ha sends an "SOS" signal after being stuck on an uninhabited island for 15 years.
Claims were made by Jeju residents that the crew didn't properly clean up the rocks after filming, and just left without doing so which led to the controversy.

There were also criticisms that the filming took place without proper coordination with the local administration, creating more negative buzz.
'Castaway Diva' Issues Public Apology
On November 14, a representative of the "Castaway Diva" production team released a statement and apologized to the public for the inconvenience.
"We explained the filming details in advance to the residents and the local authorities," they clarified. "However, there were shortcomings in the process of execution."
They added, ""We will do our best to restore the situation and the faith of the public as soon as possible."
It was clear that the production crew of the drama meant no harm to the public, especially to the residents of Jeju Island where "Castaway Diva" was filmed.
