‘Vigilante’ Episode 3: Authorities Intensify Search for Nam Joo Hyuk

"Vigilante" episode 3 featured how Nam Joo Hyuk is in a tight spot after finding out that there are copycats posing as him.

Due to this, authorities are intensifying their hunt for the vigilante and to prevent people or individuals who are also doing the same.

Mee the 'Vigilante' Cast

Taking on the role of the vigilante, Nam Joo Hyuk plays Kim Ji Yong. He is a bright student studying at the police academy but also shifts his time as a vigilante who fights injustice by seeking revenge against criminals.

As the story progressed, viewers witnessed the character of Kim So Jin as the fearless reporter Choi Mi Ryeo, who exposed to the public how a vigilante works.

Joining the "Vigilante" cast is Yoo Ji Tae as detective Cho Jeon. Known for his badass personality, he will do whatever it takes to find the vigilante.

Last on the list is Lee Joon Hyuk as Cho Kang Ok. Other than being the second generation chaebol, Kang Ok is a fan of vigilantes and fully supports his advocacy.

'Vigilante' Episode 3 Recap

One of the highlights in "Vigilante" episode 3 is how the police are trying to solve the public's huge support for the vigilante.

As we all know, vigilantes are citizens who undertake law enforcement without legal authority. Vigilantes believe that criminals can be punished for another crime.

In episode 3, the police are concerned about the growing number of copycats who are using vigilantes to punish criminals.

On the other hand, Kim Ji Yong is also bothered by people imitating his actions against criminals.

In one scene, he gets fueled up by his desire to punish a perpetrator after the old woman, who he often helped transport old cartons, was purposely hit by a car in an alley. The person who helped the old woman was also being punished for beating the suspect.

As for the perpetrator, he was held by the police due to his wounds sustained by a witness to the crime.

Upon hearing this, Kim Ji Yong targeted the suspect's brother after seeing him threaten the victim to settle things.

After this, he continued his revenge by going after the suspect who was at the hospital. He managed to get inside the premises despite the tight security.

The vigilante didn't kill the suspect but left him a warning that shook him right to his core. The vigilante wanted the suspect to dismiss his legal actions against the bystander and instead come clean with his sins.

However, Cho Heon had a hunch that the man who passed him by was the vigilante. He didn't manage to see his face but knew that he was in his mid-20s, quite tall, and had a slender physique.

In the latter part of the episode, the police were surprised to see the suspect jump out of the building.

Kim Ji Yong saw that a man in dark clothes climbed down the hospital and rode an ambulance.

As he followed the masked vigilante, the person acknowledged him and said, "Nice to meet you, Ji Yong," leaving the two vigilantes smiling at each other.
