The fifth episode showcased significant highlights in Han Jun Oh and Kang Young Hwa's past and present.

Kang Young Hwa, who used to live as the nobleman's daughter Han Ri Ta, is unaware of her past life. However, Ha Jun Oh, or Do Ha, is living in a curse where he recalls everything that happened 1,500 years ago.

Fast forward to the present, when Kang Young Hwa becomes the full-time bodyguard for Jun Oh.

In the latter part of the series, Jun Oh, who is possessed by the spirit of Do Ha, confronted Kang Young Hwa.

He asked her about any recollections from the past, but she denied it.

However, Han Jun Oh could feel that she was lying and insisted on telling her the truth.

In the end, Kang Young Hwa caved in and revealed that she could sometimes see incidents during the Silla Dynasty and recalled a person named Do Ha.

At this point, Ha Jun Oh suddenly fainted and tried to revive his body, which led her to see Do Ha's spirit. "Moon in the Day" episode 5 ended with Kang Young Hewa calling Ha Jun Oh, "Sir! "
