Selected to play the lead star, the Super Junior member is slated to portray an interesting character in the upcoming series "DNA Lover."

Choi Siwon to Possibly Team Up With Jung In Sun in the Rom-Com Drama 'DNA Lover'

In an exclusive report, Choi Siwon is positively considering joining the new rom-com K-drama "DNA Lover."

The idol actor is offered to portray the character of Shim Yeon Woo, an obstetrician who doesn't believe in marriage.

Despite his good looks, Yeon Woo rejects anything that could lead to a relationship because he doesn't believe in marriage and has a non-marriage policy.

However, things change when he meets the woman who shakes his abysmal spirit.

Joining Choi Siwon is Jung In Sun, who is also offered to play the character of Han So Jin, a skilled genetic researcher who experienced a series of unsuccessful relationships. Due to this, she seeks a partner through genetic compatibility. 

If the duo officially confirmed to play the main characters of "DNA Lover," the upcoming rom-com will surely give viewers a round of entertaining season as the stars showcase their on-screen chemistry.

While the upcoming K-drama "DNA Lover" is in full swing, officials aim to release the series sometime in 2024.

As for the broadcast, Choi Siwon and Jung In Sun's drama will reportedly air via TV Chosun.

Meanwhile, the forthcoming rom-com series is Choi Siwon's next project after his cameo in "Death's Game." He will join the star-studded cast, featuring Park So Dam and Seo In Guk, along with Kim Ji Hoon, Sung Hoon, Jang Seung Jo, Kim Kang Hoon, Lee Jae Wook, Lee Do Hyun, Go Yoon Jung, Oh Jung Se, Kim Jae Wook, and more.

In addition, viewers also witnessed Choi Siwon's versatility as an actor after playing a supporting character in Netflix's "Bloodhounds."

Headlined by Woo Do Hwan and Lee Sang Yi, the Super Junior member becomes Hong Min Beom, the son of a chaebol who was targeted by mobsters.

Of course, who would forget Choi Siwon's character Kang Buk Gu in "Work Later, Drink Now" seasons 1 and 2?

Choi Siwon Talks About Unexpected Highlight During His Japan Trip

In December 2022, during the shoot for Allure Korea, Choi Siwon mentioned meeting "Work Later, Drink Now" co-star Lee Sun Bin on his trip to Japan.

On a separate vacation, the actor bumped into the actress at the exact location and time.

According to the actor, he visited the country for a fan meeting together with Super Junior members Leeteuk and Shindong.

"I went to a restaurant, and we happened to accidentally meet Lee Sun Bin there. The funny thing is, I went to drink highball [a type of cocktail] after that, and there, I met [comedian] Yoo Se Yoon.'"

Both Choi Siwon and Lee Sun Bin were surprised to see each other in a different country.
