IN THE LOOP: ‘Death’s Game,’ ‘Soundtrack #2,’ More K-Dramas To Check Out This Week
A new set of actors is about to reach the screen this December as new dramas such as "Death's Game," "Soundtrack #2," and more are expected to debut this week with stellar cast members!
It's the last month of the year yet the Korean entertainment industry still has something to offer to its avid viewers. 2023 will end with an intriguing and enthralling series starring some of the brilliant stars in Hallyu, from Seo In Guk, Park So Dam, to Lee Do Hyun and Lee Jae Wook, these are the most-anticipated dramas to premiere this second week of December.
'Soundtrack #2'
After season 1, which starred Han So Hee and Park Hyung Sik, the follow-up story for this drama "Soundtrack #2" is about to make its debut beginning December 6 with a new ensemble.

This romance drama features the story of an ex-couple who meets again by fate. Geum Sae Rok is Do Hyeon Seo, a piano tutor who is more focused on her present reality than on love, while Noh Sang Hyun is Ji Su Ho, her ex-boyfriend, who became a rich and successful CEO after they parted ways.
"Soundtrack #2" is said to have six episodes in total and will be available for viewing in Disney Plus.
'Maestra: Strings of Truth'
Legendary actress Lee Young Ae is meeting the viewers again with a new image as she transforms into a music conductor in "Maestra: Strings of Truth."
It is adapted from the French series "Philharmonia." The thriller drama will feature Lee Young Ae as Cha Se Eum, a brilliant and legendary conductor who uncovers truths hidden within the orchestra while trying to hide her own secrets.
"Maestra: Strings of Truth" will begin its broadcast this December 9 on tvN and is expected to occupy the Saturday and Sunday slots at 9:20 p.m. (KST).
Joining the cast members are Lee Moo Saeng, Hwang Bo Reum, Kim Young Jae, Park Ho San, Yang Jun Mo, Ye Soo Jung, Kim Young Ah, and more.
'Death's Game'
Lastly, TVING's star-studded drama "Death's Game" is finally hitting primetime this coming December 15.
The mystery series depicts the story of a man who gets more than one second chance to live after facing death. Seo In Guk plays the role of Choi Yi Jae, who is sentenced to 12 cycles of life and death right before his first life is about to end. Park So Dam is Death, the one who gave the punishment to Yi Jae.
Some talented actors and actresses will have their special appearance in this series namely Kim Ji Hoon, Choi Siwon, Sung Hoon, Jang Seung Jo, Kim Kang Hoon, Lee Do Hyun, Lee Jae Wook, Go Yoon Jung, Oh Jung Se, Kim Jae Wook, and more.
