Jeon Yeo Bin garnered a new nickname after winning another major recognition following her performance in the movie "Cobweb."

Why 'Cobweb' is a Remarkable Movie for Jeon Yeo Bin

The 34-year-old beauty is getting the attention she deserves after winning Best Supporting Actress at the prestigious Blue Dragon Film Awards 2023.

In her exclusive interview, the actress talked about her performance in the mystery-comedy movie "Cobweb," and her affection for her role as Shin Mi Do.

According to the actress, "Cobweb" is one of the most memorable movies she did throughout her acting career.

"It was the movie I wanted to see, and the scenes and moments awakened me in many ways."

The actress also mentioned that what made the movie so special to her was being able to receive the Blue Dragon Film Awards trophy for portraying the role of Shin Mi Do.

As the interview continued, the actress talked about the character, who she described as "very cool."

Jeon Yeo Bin also spoke about her similarities with her character in "Cobweb."

"Shin Mi Do is a person who believes in herself and also believes in others.

I also think that I want to become a person who can help others by not limiting my passion and will to myself. I think that's something that Shinmido and I are very similar to."

Jeon Yeo Bin on Being Called 'Little Song Kang Ho'

Other than the Blue Dragon Award, Jeon Yeo Bin is praised for her amazing performance in "Cobweb." Due to this, she is being referred to as the "Little Song Kang Ho" for delivering such a moving performance.

According to Jeon Yeo Bin, working with the veteran actor is such an honor.

"It makes me wonder if I can even dare to receive this modifier."

In addition, the actress shared her affection for Song Kang Ho and said that she was happy to be in the same film as him.

"He put in more concentration and effort than any other actor I've ever met, and he was the most alive actor on set."

As a junior actor, seeing him work from the screen made him learn a lot about their craft and gave her an "opportunity to dream of becoming an actor like senior Song Kang Ho."

Released on September 27 in theaters, "Cobweb" also made its premiere at the Cannes Film Festival 2023 where it received a 10-minute standing ovation.
