Han Ji Min, who is now known for her versatile roles in Korean dramas, recently talked about the hard times she went through as a new actress. She said that she cried every night during that time.

Per Koreaboo, Han talked about the problems she faced early in her career on the most recent episode of Jung Jae Hyung's YouTube show "Fairy Jaehyung." She said, "I wasn't a naturally gifted actress," adding, "Even after passing the audition, I was severely scolded during filming for [the 2003 K-Drama] All In because I was really bad at acting."

Han talked about how her problems on set affected her as a person. She said, "I realized for the first time that filming was being delayed because of me, and that I was causing trouble. I went home and cried every day."

She had more problems when she got the lead role in Good Person later that year. She said to @fairyjaehyung, "Even though I was the lead, I knew nothing about how a set operated."

She talked about the small details of early filming, saying, "If I ate a potato with my left hand in one take, I had to do the same in the next cut—but I switched to my right hand, and it became a big issue. These days, those basics are set up for you, but back then, they would just watch me and say, 'Let's see how she handles this,' and then scold me if I did it differently," per Sports Seoul.

Han also thought about how these early experiences affected her emotionally. "I was just eating earnestly and enjoying the food, so I didn't understand why I was being scolded, which made it even harder," she said, remembering a time when she wondered if acting was worth all the attention.

Han Ji Min kept going even though it was hard, and she eventually became known as one of the most respected actresses in Korean drama for her nuanced performances.
