‘Single’s Inferno 3’ Officials Clear Up Yun Ha Jeong’s Questionable Background
"Single's Inferno" Season 3 producers shed light on concerns regarding contestant Yun Ha Jeong's work.
In an interview with Ten Asia, producers Kim Jae Won and Kim Jung Hyun spoke about the creation and stories of the reality dating show.
On December 12, 2023, Netflix launched the third installment of the South Korean reality-dating show. The program involved 12 extremely stunning and single participants.
Slightly veering away from the usual inferno and paradise set-up, viewers get to see a different set-up featuring a whole new cast.
One of the participants who immediately made a mark is Yun Ha Jeong.
'Single's Inferno' Season 3 Cast Yun Ha Jeong Reportedly Signed With Agency
Introduced in "Single's Inferno 3" episode 2, the 26-year-old beauty first experienced Paradise with Lee Gwan Hee, where she revealed more about herself.
Other than her age, Yun Ha Jeong also mentioned that she works as an office worker for a medical clothing company.

Her responsibilities include handling customer service, purchase orders, and the like.
However, eagle-eyed fans found out that the company where she's working is run by her family.
In addition, Yun Ha Jeong was already affiliated with an agency.
Amid this, the show's producer, Kim Jae Won, confirmed that the female contestant works for a clothing company run by her family while also "simultaneously pursuing a career as a model."
"Even people with ordinary jobs start thinking about other career paths after they appear on the show and receive attention. When they gain recognition, they naturally consider other professions as options in their lives.
So we usually advise not to neglect their main job since you never know how public attention will turn out, and we tell them we hope they don't change their life so dramatically (after the show)."
In the 16-episode reality dating show, viewers saw the two sides of Yun Ha Jeong.
Initially, the contestant received a slew of hate from viewers after noticing her signature flirty stare, and she was even mocked by the show's hosts.
However, things changed as viewers got to see her quirky and funny attitude.
After being hated, Yun Ha Jeong became one of the well-loved characters on the show.
PDs Reveal Casting Process on 'Single's Inferno 3'
For the third season, it was revealed that five out of six women are beauty queens. It includes Park Gyu Ri, Ah Min Young, Yun Ha Jeong, Yoon Si Eun, and Choi Min Ji, who participated in the Miss Korea and Miss Chunhyang pageants.
In the same interview, producer Kim Jung Hyun explained that it was purely coincidental and "didn't specifically look for beauty pageant contestants."
According to the show official, they "searched through social media and sent DMs.
"... and it turned out they were former beauty pageant participants," he added.
