‘Abyss’ Cast Update 2024: New K-dramas To Check Out From Ahn Hyo Seop, Park Bo Young

The meeting of Ahn Hyo Seop and Park Bo Young came by a surprise in 2019 when the two coupled up in the romantic comedy series "Abyss."

In the show, the two team up to find the causes of their demise after they are woken up in different bodies through the celestial power, which definitely appealed to the public.

In the past year, Ahn Hyo Seop enjoyed back-to-back success after leading the two biggest K-dramas "Dr. Romantic 3" and "A Time Called You."

The actor showcased his range and skills through the two contrasting works, leaving fans in awe. From medical drama to a time-slip rom-com, Ahn Hyo Seop proved that he can do it all.

At the moment, he's preparing for his forthcoming film "Omniscient Reader's Viewpoint" with BLACKPINK Jisoo, Lee Min Ho, Chae Soo Bin, Shin Seung Ho and more.

It's a jam-packed work that follows the story of a man whose life changes after reading a magical novel. Ahn Hyo Seop takes on the lead character named Kim Dok Ja.

Like Ahn Hyo Seop, the actress left a massive impact on the audiences after taking on the melodrama and disaster genres in the same year.

Besides making a cameo appearance in "Strong Girl Nam Soon," she led the mega hit works "Daily Dose of Sunshine" and "Concrete Utopia."

This 2024, she returns with brand new romantic dramas alongside seasoned actors. Park Bo Young teams up with Joo Ji Hoon in the upcoming Disney+ series "Light Shop."

It depicts the stories of the living and the dead who co-exist through a magical world that sells lamps. It will be directed by "Moving" actor Kim Hee Woon who will make his directorial debut.

Meanwhile, Park Bo Young's "Romance Movie" also stars Kim Jae Wook and Choi Woo Shik, and it follows the lives of people who pretend to be fine amid their struggling lives.
