On January 30, various online portals were in chaos following the release of a man's picture, who happened to have an uncanny resemblance to K-heartthrob Cha Eun Woo. The uploaded snap garnered significant interest for his similar facial features.  

People speculated that the photo surfaced online when his Instagram account was briefly switched to public. It was then presumed that the man behind the picture was Cha Eun Woo's brother.

To recall, in the 2021 broadcast of the famous variety show "Knowing Bros," the ASTRO members shared anecdotes about Cha Eun Woo's little brother. They mentioned that the actor's younger brother is incredibly handsome and has an identical face with the "True Beauty" star.

Cha Eun Woo then revealed that his brother just finished his mandatory military service and was working part-time.

Adding to the proof about the actor's sibling, former ASTRO member Rocky shared in his past live that Cha Eun Woo's brother was the same age as him and was totally surprised when he saw him in real life. The idol even complimented him for having a small face and a pretty nose.

Furthermore, the "Island" actor revealed in January 2020 on SBS' "Handsome Tigers" that his brother is more talented than him and has a smaller face than him. His brother studied in China before enlisting in the army.

According to a source, Cha Eun Woo's little brother is named Lee Dong Hwi and was born in 1999. People close to him said that Dong Hwi has no interest in show business and has changed his social media account to private after receiving overwhelming attention from the public.

K-Netz shared their sentiments upon seeing Lee Dong Hwi's photo.
