Netflix gave viewers the first look into the upcoming comedy drama "Chicken Nugget" starring Ryu Seung Ryong and Ahn Jae Hong.

The drama also stars Kim Yoo Jung which added excitement to the production. Ahead of its anticipated premiere, a set of new stills were released to fans' delight.

Netflix is set to deliver a new comical mystery drama this 2024 with the most awaited series "Chicken Nugget" with Ryu Seung Ryong and Ahn Jae Hong.

The show is among the newest released in Hallyu and it tells the story of a man who tries to bring back his daughter who magically turns into a chicken nugget.

Ryu Seung Ryong and Ahn Jae Hong headline the work while Kim Yoo Jung makes a special appearance as the woman that connects the two, creating an exciting atmosphere.

On February 20, fans were able to see a glimpse into the upcoming production after Netflix released Ryu Seung Ryong and Ahn Jae Hong's first-ever character stills.

The two actors display their unrivaled desperation and comical teamwork as they try to revive Kim Yoo Jung who has transformed into a chicken nugget after entering a suspicious machine.

Choi Sun Man and Gong Oh Jung, played respectively by Ryu Seung Ryong and Ahn Jae Hong, stimulate imagination by showcasing their urgent rescue to a crispy, golden brown chicken nugget.

With these, attention is given to the two actors and what kind of performances they will show in the forthcoming comedy series "Chicken Nugget."

Ryu Seung Ryong & Ahn Jae Hong Share Affection For Respective Roles

In an interview with Netflix, the two lead stars talked about their acting roles and their synergy, doubling the anticipation for the show.

Ryu Seung Ryong, who played roles associated with chickens in his previous works, shared that he focused in acting "seriously" while not forgetting about the comical genre.

"Since my daughter turned into a chicken nugget, I immersed myself in the fact that it was actually my daughter," he said. "I go beyond imagination to pursue greater things."

Meanwhile, Ahn Jae Hong showed his confidence by saying that he shared a 100% synchronization rate with his new acting role. He said, "Landing this work was fate."

As for his preparations, he focused on building his character's appearance and nuances. He even came up with hairstyles, costumes and fun movements with the production team.

Moreover, the two actors also hinted at their chemistry, describing it as "a table tennis tournament with the best actors in a doubles team."

With this, all eyes are on the Netflix show. It's expected to show a whimsical story with a blend of seriousness and comedy, and a lingering feeling of love and empathy.
