Netflix Confirms Park Bo Young & Choi Woo Shik's Tandem in 'Melo Movie'

Two of the buzzworthy and brilliant stars today are about to grace the screen!

This is after Park Bo Young and Choi Woo Shik just confirmed their tandem for the Netflix series "Melo Movie."

The project will be helmed by Oh Choong Hwan, who worked on the hit dramas "Big Mouth," "Hotel del Luna," and "Castaway Diva." Through this work, Choi Woo Sik will reunite with "Our Beloved Summer" writer Lee Na Eun, who will also pen the script for "Melo Movie."

Netflix's forthcoming series is a mix of dark comedy and romance that will hopefully bring entertainment and healing to viewers.

Choi Woo Shik takes the character of Go Gyeom, an actor who takes on extra roles but becomes a film critic.

Apart from him, many are looking forward to seeing Park Bo Young in the new work. She will play the role of Kim Moo Bi, an aspiring film director.

The two will find themselves falling in love with each other after meeting on the set of an interview film.

Park Bo Young Garners Attention for Collecting 'Wooga Squad' Members as Her Leading Men

Fans and netizens were enthusiastic about the soon-to-release drama,  and yet, they also noticed that Park Bo Young became a Wooga Squad magnet as Choi Woo Shik will be the third member of the group that she will work with.

Wooga Squad is one of the known friend groups composed of Park Seo Joon, Park Hyung Sik, Choi Woo Sik, BTS' V, and Peakboy.

In 2023, the actress was paired with Park Seo Joon in the disaster movie "Concrete Utopia" where they acted as a married couple.

The public loves the interactions and collaborations that Park Bo Young has with the Wooga Squad members and can't wait to see what kind of synergy she will have with Choi Woo Shik in their first drama team-up "Melo Movie."
