Hyeri, a singer and actress, has publicly denied reports that she sold a building in Seoul's Samseong-dong district for 14.5 billion won, saying they are false.

On March 4, her agency, Sublime, released an official statement denying the claims. They said in the statement, "The content of Hyeri's real estate sale reported today is completely false."
A representative added more information about the property and the reported price, saying, "There is no fact that the property in question has been put up for sale, and I have never even heard of the price mentioned in the article."
The agency also talked about the bigger effects of the rumor, stressing how it spread false information.
"We deeply regret that unsubstantiated information is being spread as if it were fact," they said. "We ask that you refrain from reporting speculation and spreading false information about the content."

Last month, Korea Economic TV said that Hyeri had decided to sell the building for 14.5 billion won approximately $9.7 million to $9.9 million USD. If the property sells for this price, he will make 4 billion won in four years. However, there has been no official confirmation about this deal.

People on the Internet have had different responses to this news. Some people commented that they were shocked by the news, while others suggested waiting to spread it until it was verified.
One person on a well-known forum said, "It's frustrating when rumors like this circulate without any proof." Another noted, "Public figures should not have to constantly respond to baseless claims."
NoCutNews backed up what the agency said and stressed how important it is to check facts before publishing, especially when it comes to famous people.
Naver also said that Hyeri herself has not sold the property in question.
Hyeri is now concentrating on her upcoming projects. She is also known for her work as an actress in television dramas and as a member of the girl group Girl's Day. The clarification is meant to stop the spread of more false information and protect her public image while people keep talking about her real estate holdings.
