‘Queen of Divorce’ Episode 8: Lee Ji Ah Receives Marriage Proposal

In "Queen of Divorce" episode 8, Lee Ji Ah and Kang Ki Young work together to finally close their case that involves politics and a cult.

Kim Sa Ra Sees Herself In Mountain of Problems

Dong Ki Joon (Kang Ki Young) tells Kim Sa Ra (Lee Ji Ah) that his friend joined Chayul Law Firm and betrayed him for some chump change from No Yul Seong (Oh Min Seok).

Kim Sa Ra pretends not to be nervous as her personal life and work continue to clash. In episode 8, her client's name gets dragged once again for being a part of a cult.

In addition to that, her son is brainwashed to think that Kim Sa Ra left her for another man, leaving her devastated. Thankfully, Dong Ki Joon is present to offer her comfort.

Kim Sa Ra's Case Continues To Worsen

Kim Sa Ra's client receives a message from one of her husband's cult members. They help out one another but this exchange is photographed, and is portrayed as if silencing him with money.

Just like what they had expected, this was all planned by No Yul Seong. On top of that, her client's husband causes a scene at the hospital where their child is admitted.

He even tries to get the child from medication, believing that the prayers of his cult are already doing the work. Meanwhile, their other children urge their mother to get a divorce.

Elsewhere, Kim Sa Ra finally talks to her son on the phone, making her heart flutter. She also repairs her friendship with Dong Ki Joon who once again opens his heart for the former.

No Yul Seong Proposes To Kim Sa Ra

Solutions come up with a plan to trap the cult leader while simultaneously finding new ways to save Kim Sa Ra's client. At the end of the episode, the cult leader comes clean.

It's revealed that he doesn't have the power to save people, leaving every cult member disappointed and shocked. Next, Kim Sa Ra meets with her client who's in a much better place.

She offers Kim Sa Ra to work under her political party in order to take down No Yul Seong's attempts in joining the National Assembly.

What shocked everyone was No Yul Seong's surprise. He gets on his knees and once again asks Kim Sa Ra's hand in marriage.
