On the nineteenth episode of the cable channel tvN's Friday Saturday drama "Reply 1994" which aired on Saturday, December 21, 2013, the story of the first couple of the Shin Chon aired.

Sam Chun Po and Jo Yoon Jin, after a few years since college graduation, got their jobs have been living busy lives working. Although they were older, Sam Chun Po did not seem as if he wanted to marry. When friends asked them, "When are you guys going to marry?" Sam Chun Po always said, "Marriage is a serious deal. We are going to take it seriously."

Later on the two had conflicts about their different thoughts on marriage, and it seemed as if the relationship of the two were becoming worse as there was a guy in Jo Yoon Jin's company who seemed to like her.

However, the two made up and, on that night, and Sam Chun Po proposed to Jo Yoon Jin. Jo Yoon Jin was thrilled at the thought of getting a wedding ring. However, what Sam Chun Po gave her were his bank statements.

Sam Chun Po said, "I am sorry. I need a lot of prep work before marriage. The final bank statement is the savings I have been working on for our marriage. When I reach the amount I have in mind, I am going to propose to you. So please understand me. if you do not understand me, then who would?"

Jo Yoon Jin hugged Sam Chun Po wordlessly.
