Kim Jaejoong Breaks Hiatus to Lead Occult Movie 'A Gentleman'
On February 29, media outlets made a surprise announcement about Kim Jaejoong marking his acting return. Based on the news, the legendary idol is confirmed to headline the movie "A Gentleman" (working title).
"A Gentleman" is an occult movie that tells the story of three university students who go on a field trip to an abandoned shrine in Kobe, Japan, and a shaman Park Soo Jung and his college classmate uncover the identity of the evil spirit surrounding the group.
It has been said that production will begin filming this March in Japan, while its release date is still in discussion. Joining Kim Jaejoong in this project is rising actress Gong Seong Ha.

Kim Jaejoong will make an unconventional transformation as a shaman for "A Gentleman." This will be his first-ever acting work after six years.

'Doctor Slump' Actress Gong Seong Ha to Team Up With Kim Jaejoong
Opposite Kim Jaejoong is Gong Seong Ha, who impressed the viewers with her role as Choi Yoon Ji in "Through the Darkness," where she won her first Best New Actress award. She currently plays the role of Lee Hong Ran in the weekend medical drama "Doctor Slump."
Gong Seong Ha is said to show an immersive and passionate performance as a character who asks for help from her classmate and a shaman, to solve a bizarre event.
This will be Seong Ha's silver screen return following "First Child" in 2022.
