With "Chicken Nugget" debuting in Netflix, the comedy fantasy series released three main points to look forward to in the series for the maximum pleasurable experience.

Based on the popular webtoon of the same name, the series follows the story of a businessman whose beloved daughter becomes a chicken nugget after entering a mysterious machine.

It stars Ryu Seung Ryong, Ahn Jae Hong and Kim Yoo Jung, three of the most sought-after stars in Hallyu today. Here are the three key points to note in the brand new Netflix drama.

1. Lee Byung Hun's profound directing & sick comedy genre

"Chicken Nugget" is a sick comedy series with a blend of mystery and fantasy elements, which is believed to appeal to many viewers around the globe.

Lee Byung Hun, who directed the acclaimed film "Extreme Job" which also stars Ryu Seung Ryong, put a lot of effort into synchronizing with the webtoon to satisfy the viewers.

"The webtoon has a very distinct color," the director said. "I want to capture the whole vibe of the original work through my own directing style."

He reasoned that he wants to convey the message that the original work wanted to deliver through a new light and easy manner.

2. Ryu Seung Ryong, Ahn Jae Hong & Kim Yoo Jung's chemistry

The main thing to check out in "Chicken Nugget" is the meeting of passionate actors Ryu Seung Ryong, Ahn Jae Hong and Kim Yoo Jung.

They all meet for the first time through the work, which raises the expectations index to a new level. The director personally picked actors who best fit the original character in the webtoon.

"Synchronization and chemistry are 100%," Lee Byung Hun guaranteed. "We will show a sick comedy that has never been seen before through the performance of three amazing actors."

Ryu Seung Ryong revealed that he went beyond imagination, hinting at his improved acting as a comedy star. Meanwhile, Ahn Jae Hong even exerted a lot of effort in perfecting his character.

He shared that he teamed up with popular choreographer Aiki to learn dance moves as he plays a vivacious young man who loves music and dancing. Lastly, Kim Yoo Jung even ran great lengths for the work despite only appearing as a cameo star.

It's revealed that throughout the production, the actress wore a chicken nugget suit, proving the actress' dedication and passion for her craft.

3. Exciting cameo appearances & chemistry with scene-stealer stars

Besides the three actors, Lee Byung Hun curated the supporting cast ensemble with talented, scene-stealing actors.

Jung Ho Yeon, who became a global star through "Squid Game," stars as a taste columnist in the series.
