‘Parasyte: The Grey’ Episode 4: Koo Kyo Hwan Tries To Save Jeon So Nee

In the fourth episode of "Parasyte: The Grey," Jeon So Nee is kidnapped by the parasite hunters for an experiment.

Koo Kyo Hwan and Kwon Hae Hyo strategize a plan on how to save the young woman, which jeopardizes some of their plans, and even life.

Here's what happened in episode 4.

Jung Su In Meets Heidi

With the sudden death of her husband, Choi Jun Kyung (Lee Jung Hyun) is blinded by rage, and plans to kill Jung Su In (Jeon So Nee) who's currently in a coma.

She transfers her to the headquarters to keep an eye on her and do a detailed study of whether she is possessed by the parasite or not, much to Kim Cheol Min's (Kwon Hae Hyo) disdain.

Meanwhile, Heidi, the parasite, communicates with Jung Su In inside her subconscious. Viewers are given a glimpse of the past which summoned her courage after being beaten up.

From being abused by her own father and ostracized from society, to being abandoned by her own mother, Jung Su In surely has suffered throughout her life.

Choi Jun Kyung's Plans Get Busted

Kim Cheol Min heads out to meet with Seol Kang Woo who reveals that Kang Won Seok (Kim In Kwon) is the one who killed the Hunting Dog at the church.

With the impending doom looming over Jung Su In, Kim Cheol Min and Seol Kang Woo vow to protect her. The latter also disguises himself as one of the transfer crews inside the task force.

Elsewhere, Kang Won Seok rings the pastor and reveals the detective's plans as the rat. At the headquarters, the transfer of Jung Su In goes wrong due to an ambush.

Choi Jun Kyung shows up with her team and fights with the parasite. The truck where Jung Su In is kept comes to a halt when the drivers get killed by the monsters.

Kim Cheol Min Faces Danger

Seol Kang Woo tries to take Jung Su In but to no avail, Choi Jun Kyung immediately shows up. Thankfully, he is able to free her from the Hunting Dog's helmet and her comatose state.

While Jung Su In is being taken care of, Kim Cheol Min is in a limbo when Kang Won Seok knows that he is aware of his true colors. Later on, he is then brought to the hideout.

When the pastor of the church shows up while Kang Won Seok is appeasing him, Kim Cheol Min doesn't hesitate to shoot. Sadly, the parasite slices his head off.

Jung Su In thankfully arrives on time before the parasite infect the detective. A fight then breaks out between her and the pastor whose parasite is now inside Kim Cheol Min.

Seol Kang Woo manages to escape with Jung Su In, leaving a parasite-possessed Kim Cheol Min, who's already planning his next move.
