‘Parasyte: The Grey’ Episode 5: Lee Jung Hyun Offers Jeon So Nee Truce

Lee Jung Hyun convinces Jeon So Nee to work with her in defeating the parasites that plan to kill humanity.

In "Parasyte: The Grey" Episode 5, Jeon So Nee and Koo Kyo Hwan learn the ulterior motive behind Kwon Hae Hyo's plans. 

Choi Jun Kyung Offers Truce

In episode 5, viewers learn that Seol Kang Woo (Koo Kyo Hwan) is looking for someone who's never going to appear as his younger sister is already dead.

Jung Su In (Jeon So Nee) is facing the same grief as Kim Cheol Min (Kwon Hae Hyo) is now dead, and has been possessed by a parasite.

With no Hunting Dog to guide them to the parasites, Choi Jun Kyung's (Lee Jung Hyun) task force is lost. They try to postpone the big music festival in order to save other people.

To their disdain, the mayor refuses to cancel such a big event, especially since it's the last time the mayor is running for a position in the office, leaving the detectives dejected.

Choi Jun Kyung Blows Everything Up

Kang Won Seok (Kim In Kwon) asks the parasite inside Kim Cheol Min's body whether he knows Jung Su In's true state. The spy discovers that she is a mutant.

Kim Cheol Min's parasite knows what Jung Su In's parasite is capable of, leading him to decide to take her down. Unbeknownst to them, Jung Su In now plans to fight back.

Meanwhile, Choi Jun Kyung finds the church where the parasites are hiding. She takes photos for evidence, and plans to attack the hideout to kill everyone inside it.

Jung Su In warns her that Kim Cheol Min and Kang Won Seok are both parasites. Sadly, the detective doesn't listen, believing that her two subordinates are doing well.

Jung Su In Refuses the Offer

Jung Su In meets Choi Jun Kyung and explains her symbiotic relationship she shares with Heidi, the parasite inside her body, and what had happened with Kim Cheol Min.

Choi Jun Kyung wants Jung Su In to join her team but she doesn't want to be their Hunting Dong. With Heidi in control, she runs away with Seol Kang Woo.

Elsewhere, Seol Kang Woo's older sister who's transformed into a parasite sacrifices herself in order to protect him and Jung Su In from other parasites tailing the two.

Jung Su In and Seol Kang Woo warn Choi Jun Kyung for the last time, saying that working with Kim Cheol Min and Kang Won Seok is a huge trap waiting to capture her.

Kim Cheol Min joins Choi Jun Kyung's task force and actually kills his own parasitic brothers, leaving other parasites feeling betrayed.

Jung Su In and Seol Kang Woo believe that the parasite inside the detective has an ulterior motive: take control of someone in position, the mayor of their town.
