‘Parasyte: The Grey’ Episode 6: Did Jeon So Nee & Koo Kyo Hwan Succeed?

As "Parasyte: The Grey" comes to a close, Jeon So Nee, Koo Kyo Hwan and Lee Jung Hyun face the biggest battle of their lives.

They finally take down the parasites that threaten the human race. Will they succeed? Here's what went down in the final episode of the season. 

Jung Su In & Team Grey Hold Hands Together

The finale begins with Kang Won Seok (Kim In Kwon) in the past. He meets Pastor Kwon (Lee Hyun Kyun), the leader of the parasites, who's killed his wife.

To save himself, he agrees to work with the parasites, landing him a job inside the police force. At the present time, Kim Cheol Min (Kwon Hae Hyo) now has the pastor's parasite inside him.

Meanwhile, Seol Kang Woo (Koo Kyo Hwan), Seol Kyung Hee (Yoon Hyun Gil) and Jung Su In (Jeon So Nee) team up to take out Kim Cheol Min despite parasite Heidi's opposition.

Seol Kang Woo points out the plan that Kim Cheol Min has, creating a tension in the air. Choi Jun Kyung's (Lee Jung Hyun) team is scattered through town to ensure everyone's safety.

Kang Won Seok Faces Demise

Jung Su In rings Choi Jun Kyung to inform her about Kim Cheol Min's plans. The police believes her and ditches her own plan, and surges ahead Kim Cheol Min who plans to attack the mayor.

Kim Cheol Min manages to infect the mayor's guards. Seol Kyung Hee, who comes to save everyone, is also killed due to the strong nature of the pastor's parasite.

Later, he takes control of Kang Won Seok who then fights Jung Su In. Choi Jun Kyung shows up and shoots him in the chest, taking him out in an instant.

Heidi shares that Jung Su In trusts people despite what had happened to her in the past. She soon passes out on the floor while Heidi disappears in the air, leaving no threat.

Jung Su In Meets Shinichi Izumi

Throughout their feat, Seol Kang Woo and Jung Su In form a bond. The former reveals that he joined Team Grey with Choi Jun Kyung, thanks to his military background.

He's determined to use this as a way of getting his life back together. Seol Kang Woo also invites her to join them in their new journey before he hands Heidi's note to Jung Su In.

Heidi reminds Jung Su In that she's not alone, whether she likes it or not, creating a bittersweet atmosphere. At the end of the season, Jung Su In meets a mysterious Japanese man.

The visitor is none other than Shinichi Izumi (Masaki Suda), a man with an expertise when it comes to parasites. He holds out his hand to Jung Su In before the season ends.
