Lee Joon is not only known for his talent and versatility in acting but also for living a frugal life. 

Despite his celebrity status, the former MBLAQ member is proud of his mindful spending and thrifty habits. 

Due to this, he was able to purchase his first real estate in his early 20s. 

Lee Joon's Thifty Habits Helped Him Buy His First Property

Back in 2011, Lee Joon, who was at the time a member of the boy band MBLAQ, appeared on Mnet's "Beatles Code '' and talked about his spending habits and his big purchase, his first home. 

According to his group members, Lee Joon is very frugal, to the point that he never treats his bandmates. 

"He's the one who's had the most CFs, but he's really never bought us anything," one mentioned, as obtained by an outlet. 

Interestingly, being mindful of his purchases and spending only on essential needs prompted him to acquire his first property.

According to Lee Joon, it is "not anything extravagant," but it is something that he is proud of. 

"One day, I just thought that I wanted to move into a home I bought with my own money and began saving up little by little since then."

He said that in preparation for his big purchase, he avoids shopping and has never bought his own clothes since his debut. 

"I made a promise to myself recently, and it was to never spend money on anyone else for the next 10 years."

Through enough, the actor mentioned in his recent interview with SBS's "My Ugly Duckling" that he wore the undergarments he bought when he was in middle school. and will only repurchase if he needs to. 

Meanwhile, during his guest appearance in KBS' TV show "YeoYooManMan," the actor showed his home for the first time with his mother, making the house tour. 

In one scene, Lee Joon's mother revealed the actor's room on air. 

"To tell you the truth, there's nothing special," she said, showing that her son is not into fancy furniture but spends on nice watches and cologne.
