‘Blood Free’ Episode 3: Han Hyo Joo Doubts Ju Ji Hoon’s Motive for Joining BF Group

"Blood Free" Episode 3 focused on the sabotage against Han Hyo Joo's controversial company, BF Group, which is gaining negative criticism from the public due to its mission to change humans consumption of food.

Helmed by Park Chul Hwan of the movie "Investigative Trip," along with screenwriter Lee Soo Yeon of "Grid" and "Stranger," the series depicts the story of the CEO, who runs a genetic engineering company that aims to produce artificially cultured meat in 2025.

Taking on the role of CEO Yoon Ja Yoo, she hires the former military officer Woo Chae Woon, played by Ju Ji Hoon, as her bodyguard to protect her from the threats raised by individuals opposing her.

As the story digs deep into BF Group's mission to launch their blood-free meat, Yoon Ja Yoo finds herself in the middle of disorganization within their company.

Joining Ju Ji Hoon and Han Hyo Joo are Lee Moo Saeng, Lee Hee Joon, Kim Sang Ho, and more.

'Blood Free' Episode 3: CEO Yoon Ja Yoo Suspects Two of Her Close Allies

Now that CEO Yoon Ja Yoo realized that her life was in danger, she officially hired Woo Chae Woon as her bodyguard.

One of the things that Woo Chae Woon raised was the ransomware that BF Group had to deal with.

He pointed out that someone from her team might be the culprit behind it, and this was where she suspected everyone on her team.

However, she doubted his true motive and conducted further investigation into Woo Chae Woon's identity. She found out that he used to work as the former prime minister's soldier during a tragic incident involving key personalities, such as Yoo Ja Yoo.

The CEO confronted Woo Chae Woon, only to find out that it was all a coincidence, adding that he only knew of her after reading the news about the blast.

Meanwhile, Yoon Ja Yoo saw the former prime minister as the worst, and his son being the current leader was no good for her.

The CEO believed that the duo is capable of planting a mole inside her company, hinting that it was Woo Chae Woon.

Another incident that the CEO found the answer to was Ms. Hong's accident.

In "Blood Free" Episode 3, Yoon Ja Yoo and Woo Chae Woon visited the site where Ms. Hong's car was submerged.

Thankfully, she was still alive, but she needed time to recover from the incident.

Yoon Ja Yoo wasted no time and investigated the people who might be behind this. She first suspected one of the founding members and the head of the research center, On San.

However, she discovered that it was the biotechnologist and also one of the founders of BF Group, Kim Shin Goo, who was in hiding because of the incident.

His revenge all rooted when his wife passed away after participating in BF Group's test for their cultured meat.
