The couple, who first met as co-stars, transitioned from colleagues to close friends and eventually to romantic partners, maintaining their relationship away from the spotlight for nearly 10 years.

"Both Yoon Sun-woo and Kim Ga-eun are known for their kind personalities," said a close acquaintance of the couple, according to the report.

"They've continued their relationship with mutual trust and respect for many years, and it's truly heartwarming to see them finally tie the knot."

Yoon debuted in the entertainment industry in 2003 but gained wider attention in 2014 with his role in Single-minded Dandelion.

He later starred in high-profile dramas such as "Moon Lovers: Scarlet Heart Ryeo" (2016), "Stove League" (2019), and "Good Job" (2022).

This year, he is scheduled to return to the stage in the play My Mister, portraying Do Jun-young.

Kim Ga-eun launched her career in 2009 as an open recruit actor for SBS. Notable works:

In 2010, she starred in Giant, Brain (2011), Because This is My First Life (2017), and The Light in Your Eyes (2019).

She appeared most recently in King of the Land (2023) and will next be seen in tvN's The Potato Lab later this year.

Although the wedding date and location have not been publicly announced, both fans and industry peers were overjoyed upon hearing the news.

The wedding is one of the rare instances in Korean entertainment where a long-term, secretive romance is transformed into a public celebration.
