A mistaken identity moment at the 4th Blue Dragon Series Awards turned into a touching display of camaraderie and humility between actors Lee Jun-young and Lee Jun-hyuk.

During the ceremony held at Paradise City in Incheon on Thursday, mistakenly walked onstage after hearing what he thought was his name announced for the 'Upbeat Popular Star Award.' The award, however, was meant for senior actor Lee Jun-hyuk.

The confusion came from a mispronunciation by MC Jeon Hyun-moo. Realizing the error, Lee Jun-young quickly returned the trophy, hugged Lee Jun-hyuk, and left the stage gracefully, causing laughter and applause from the audience.

Later that night, Lee Jun-young posted an apology on social media. "I couldn't hear well at the scene and made a ridiculous mistake," he wrote.

"I apologize again to senior Lee Jun-hyuk and his fans. Congratulations on receiving the award!"

In a warm show of support, Lee Jun-hyuk responded via his social media, writing, "Thanks to Jun-young, it was fun. Don't worry too much.I made the same mistake at AAA. I think it's fate. Let's have a meal together next time."

Lee Jun-young replied to the message saying, "Thanks to your generous brother, I think I'll be able to sleep well tonight. I'll contact you, brother."

This isn't the first time the two actors have experienced a case of mistaken identity. At a previous awards ceremony, Lee Jun-hyuk nearly miscalled Lee Jun-young's name during his own acceptance speech.

Despite the potential for awkwardness, the mix-up was handled with humor and mutual respect.

During his acceptance speech, Lee Jun-hyuk joked, "I hoped something funny would happen when I received the award, and this is what happened." MC Jeon Hyun-moo added,

"Please give a big round of applause to Lee Jun-young too. I lost my mind too," eliciting laughter from the crowd.

The 4th Blue Dragon Series Awards recognized several stars in various categories, including Park Bo-gum, IU, and Lee Hye-ri, alongside Lee Jun-hyuk.
